Yesterday we arrived in Lyon for the first of two shows in France. This is a great place to come and play, and since our first shows in Paris a few years ago, the crowd here are very enthusiastic.

This is one of the biggest cities in France after Paris and we had quite a few of them down early to get into DaisyLand. All of us had a great time doing acoustic versions of ‘Dead and Gone’ and ‘Set Me Free’. The crowd loved Davids version of ‘Get a Haircut’, and Deen and Marcos renditions of various songs.

The venue last night was CCO which seems to be a bit of a cultural hub in the city, although we noticed that our Southern friends Molly Hatchet will be playing here soon!

Once again, the venue was packed. A great crowd that were energetic and lively from opening track ‘Midnight Moses’ to closing track ‘Highway Star’. Songs from our current album ‘Burn It Down’ really packed a punch with the Lyon audience. ‘Resurrected’, ‘Rise Up’ and title track ‘Burn It Down’ going down well.

In a few days we come back to France to play Marseille, and we can’t wait after that great reception! Viva Le France!
