A Letter from our good friend Kana

The amazing thing about touring is that we get to make friends all over the world and watching them become part of the extended Daisies family. It’s truly so awesome to see them come together at our shows no matter where we go. This week we’ve got a letter from Kana. Kana is very dear to us and although being a fairly recent The Dead Daisies convert, she brings so much energy to the Daisies family.

Hi, everyone! This is Kana. I’m like a baby in comparison with the other Daisies fans. It’s not long since I saw the band for the first time.

Back then some of my friends took me to the Loud Park 16. Yeah, I needed some fun because my favorite band, Mötely Crüe disbanded in 2015. When I saw The Dead Daisies that first time at the Loud Park, OMG! OMG!! OMG!!! I was thrilled by their performance. Ever since then I’ve seen several shows in Japan & Los Angeles, which is my second hometown.

Since I committed to The Chain Gang, I have made a large circle of Daisies friends all over the world. It’s really fun to meet other fans at the likes of The Daisyland at Bartel’s Harley-Davidson’s in Marina Del Rey. Its not only fans, I’m getting to know, some journalists and radio DJs through TDD too. (It’s not because of my career. I’ve been related to music business since my 20s.) I can confidently say that, “THE DEAD DAISIES ARE LOVED BY EVERYONE!”

John’s powerful and distinctive voice. Marco’s groovy & heavy bass sounds and his colorful & tender voice and one more thing, he always entertaining us.
Doug’s integrated old fashion and earth-shattering guitar sounds and riffs. Deen’s heavy beats and comfortable vibes. David’s precise rhythm guitars, I can’t thank him enough that he formed this band!

I became thoroughly fascinated by all these cats, “boy’s club”. According to Doug, “It’s kind of like a liquid situation where it can move and still be The Dead Daisies….” Yeah, I really hope that liquid won’t drain away anytime soon. I’d like to hear and see more.

This year I’m so crazy. I saw some shows in Germany, Japan, Los Angeles and Las Vegas AND, I’m coming to see them again in Germany.

CHEERS, “KAMPAI”! TO THE DEAD DAISIES, ALL STAFF, THE CHAIN GANG, AND THE DEADSIES!

XOXO

There are just a handful of shows left for 2019 so if you’re in Europe, grab your tickets NOW!
