We are delighted to announce that the band will be hitting the road across Europe in 2022, kicking off in Germany on the 5th of February. The first show is in Essen and will be followed by concerts across Germany, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Spain, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. This will be the first time that the ‘Holy Ground’ album will be rolled out live to a European audience since it was recorded in France at the end of 2019! The special guest throughout the tour will be none other than former White Lion frontman Mike Tramp who has carved out a successful solo career over the last twenty years. He will be bringing former Freak of Nature bandmate and guitarist Marcus Nand along to play a set of White Lion songs that set the US charts alight in the 1980’s including ‘Wait’. THE DEAD DAISIES KICK OFF 2022 WITH THE “HOLY GROUND” EU TOUR SPECIAL GUEST MIKE TRAMP ANNOUNCED
The Dead Daisies will kick off 2022 in style with a Pan-European Headline Tour through the theatres of the “old world”. Performing tracks from their latest album Holy Ground and joined by Special Guest Mike Tramp, this Tour will be the band’s first for EU fans since 2018!
The Daisies have a special relationship with Continental Europe, having performed numerous sold-out headline shows, supporting some of the biggest names in rock as well as performing at some of the most prestigious festivals the continent has to offer!
This tour will be in support of the band’s most recent studio album HOLY GROUND which hit the Top 10 Album Charts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Canada, Sweden & Japan and has spawned four Billboard Top 20 Singles at Rock Radio in the last year.
The reviews for this album were ecstatic, Classic Rock Magazine mentioned how “The Dead Daisies are a group to take seriously (…) and are rapidly becoming one of the most exciting bands in modern rock!” and called the album Holy Ground “…slick, powerful and hook-laden…” and “…a quantum leap forward…”.
So, after touring the US not once but twice in 2021 and now heading to the UK for an 8-city headline run, the band will take a quick breather over the holidays and then arrive in Europe at the top of February 2022 for an extensive run kicking off in Germany and wrapping in Norway.
The tour will be joined as Very Special Guest by none other than Mike Tramp who, alongside his trusted companion Marcus Nand will deliver what he describes as “a power-packed, 45 Minute long, exclusive White Lion Greatest Hits set”.
