In a recent interview with Blabbermouth.net, Doug Aldrich spoke about The Dead Daisies moving forward writing and recording new music and working with new vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes.

“It’s an exciting change” Doug said about the new line-up. He then went on to talk about the first writing and recording session together in LA during August. “I think it’s going to be pretty cool. We were really happy with the way our songwriting sessions went.”

The first teaser track ’Righteous Days’ came from the first session. Doug shared his thoughts on the track. “We felt ‘Righteous Days’ is the best first teaser. We thought it was a good way to make an announcement to show, let the music do the talking. This is what it is.”
