So as we close the door on 2023 and start to prepare for the new horizon of a brand new year and what lies ahead, it’s time to reflect on what has been an awesome year for The Dead Daisies! Fans were noticeably excited with the announcement that John Corabi would be returning to the band when it was announced along with ‘new boy’ Michael Devin on bass guitar. In August as the band prepared to step back out on tour, the latest album, a celebration of ten years of the band was released. The ‘Best Of’ album was packed full of both musical and pictorial history of The Dead Daisies, and the stunning package was loved by all those that had followed the band throughout their time. Along with a return to the US, Canada made a welcome return to the tour calendar after 5 years when the band played six shows from Montreal in the East, to Vancouver on the West Coast. After a short break of playing US cities including LA and Las Vegas, the band returned to the land of the rising sun, Japan. Two shows and very enthusiastic crowds, showed the band that they had been sorely missed by their Japanese fans. After a very long plane ride to Europe, the November tour kicked off with a series of packed and sold out shows. Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Scandinavia before returning for the December tour and more sold out shows. After a number of shows in Germany, the curtain for the year was finally pulled down in Karlsruhe, Germany at the Knock Out Festival in front of four thousand people. 2024 is set to be full of more firsts for the band as they continue to burn a trail for great Rock music!
