SOUTHAMPTON IS ELECTRIFYING

2024.09.08-Southampton-32

The band jumped on the tour bus late morning today and headed out on the road aiming to be in Southampton in the afternoon. There is always a little culture to any UK tour and this one is no different as the band had the opportunity to see the world famous Stonehenge on their way.

After arriving at their hotel mid-afternoon, the band retired to their rooms until showtime.

When the band drew up to the 1865 venue in Southampton, there was the biggest line of the tour to date snaking around the building and street filled with excited and eager fans waiting to get into the venue for the show.

When the clock struck 9.30pm, the band hit the stage and the packed crowd shook the roof with their very loud cheer, it’s been a long time coming for some of these Daisies fans.

The atmosphere tonight is electric, and Corabi is loving every minute feeding off the crowd’s reactions! ‘Dead and Gone’ and ‘Make Some Noise’ back to back keeps the audience’s energy levels flowing as Doug and David work the twin guitar attack on the latest single ‘I Wanna Be Your Bitch’! Michael Devin and Tommy Clufetos hold down a very solid foundation for every track played tonight, whether it was from the Holy Ground/Radiance period or before. They put their own signature style to every song tonight and make it sound massive. With another gig done, Monday will see a break to recharge and get ready to do it all over again in Holmfirth on Tuesday!
