Rock’n’Roll and hot cars in Erie, PA

Rock’n’Roll and hot rides always go together really well. So maybe it’s no surprise that there is a car show two streets from the venue of tonight’s show with Kiss in Erie, PA. The Walnut Street Invitational Car Show has numerous vintage cars on the street over six or seven blocks. Their owners sitting by them as they were displayed so visitors can go up and check them out. Needless to say, some of the Daisies travel party enjoyed the sight of some really beautiful kick-ass four-wheels from past times, a nice change in pace from the daily routine of professional touring.

But soon gears (no pun intended) shifted from classic cars to Classic Rock: Pumped up and in a good mood, The Dead Daisies took the stage at the usual time and cranked into ‘Midnight Moses’ which led into the nightly ‘Make Some Noise’ festival of music enjoyed every night by the KISS Army and then afterwards on to the meet and greets with a crowd waiting to have their posters signed by the band.
