LANDING AT THE LANDIS

The audience packed out the venue to see one of their favourite Rock bands and were not disappointed as The Dead Daisies launched into new single ‘Light ‘Em Up’ when they hit the stage! After returning to the fold last year, John Corabi has comfortably fitted into his old shoes but with a fresh and much more vibrant stature as he leads the band into another set packed full of monster tracks.

They are all there, the old, the new, the classics and the covers the band have made their own like ‘Fortunate Son’ and ‘Midnight Moses’ which was off the charts tonight with some new arrangements. Also in the mix was a brand new modern blues take on the classic Muddy Waters number ‘I’m Ready’ featuring a great mouth organ solo by Michael Devin as Corabi kept the bass line going! John talked with the audience about recording in the world famous Muscle Shoals studios where the Rolling Stones and Lynyrd Skynyrd are among some of the legends that have made records.

The Daisies closed with Beatles classic ‘Helter Skelter’ to an audience that didn’t want to leave and were pleading with the band to come back as soon as possible to repeat this Rockin’ night!
