Basking in the Florida sunshine, Doug took full advantage of this tour stop and jumped straight into the ocean! It was a hot and humid evening in Fort Lauderdale, and the venue, the Culture Room, was filling up with eager Rock fans creating an even hotter atmosphere. The energy from the band playing on-stage and the adrenaline rush from the crowd was like a volcanic eruption in the intense heat, and as the show went on, it just got hotter and hotter as ‘Midnight Moses’, ‘Burn’ and ‘Mexico’ flew like burning rocks from the stage. This was a scorching gig in every way possible. The humidity build up was finally broken with the arrival of a wild tropical storm as the band made their way back to the hotel. One hot night indeed.
