Glowing Radiance in the cold night

TDD-13.12.22- Edinburgh-117

You could see your breath outside in the cold Scottish air as fans who had waited for four years to see the band again, filed into the O2 Academy in Edinburgh. It has been 5 years since they played Scotland’s capital city.

As Aerosmiths ‘Sweet Emotion’ blasted through the speakers, Brian Tichy took to the stage to the cheers of the crowd and then the band arrived to the machine gun riff of ‘Long Way To Go’.

Supporting the album ‘Radiance’, on this tour, the light show that highlights the band and the songs is simply breathtaking. With songs like ‘Radiance’, ‘Shine On’ and ‘Born to Fly’ being blasted as loud as it could go, the accompanying beams of light could not have highlighted and illustrated the songs better.

The band were loving their time in Scotland with the warmth of the cheer and applause coming off the audience on what was a pretty frosty night outside. Doug was firing out riffs and shapes across the stage, as Glenn led from the front with a big grin and David and Brian kept the fast and furious rock engine pulsating away.

Every date of this tour has seen the crowds come back to live music and give their support to the band. It has been a great run of dates with the final countdown this Thursday in Bristol. Make sure you get along to that final show because you don’t want to miss it!
