The first night of the UK Winter Tour could not have started in a better place! A bit of a Rock n’ Roll mecca of a venue, Nottingham Rock City was packed full with eager fans waiting to see a repeat of the phenomenal concert last year. They were not disappointed, as David, Glenn, Doug and the returning Brian took to the stage with the now familiar start of ‘Long Way To Go’! Storming through a set packed full of big hitters including ‘Face Your Fear’, ‘Bustle and Flow’ and the latest single ‘Born To Fly’ which went down in explosive fashion with the capacity crowd, they also slipped in some surprises like ‘Burn It Down’. There was a real fun and playful atmosphere to the show and Brian took full advantage of this in his drum solo spot which had the audience cheering him on and wanting more.

As they reached the finish line, two big favourites that The Dead Daisies have made their own were dished up in full maximum volume style. ‘Midnight Moses’ and ‘Burn’ ripped through the auditorium to close day one of the winter tour! Things will get even hotter from here and next up, Manchester needs to be ready to have its foundations Rocked while the band are hitting their stride with immediate effect!
