Returning to a city that loves your music when you have been away is a great feeling for any musician, and for The Dead Daisies on their return to Vienna is no different. The band have been coming here on different tours for nearly ten years, and the fact they had to upgrade their concert venue from an already sold out smaller venue, shows how much the band mean to the Austrian fans! With the stage plunged into darkness followed by an explosion of lights and Doug Aldrich cranking up the riff to ‘Resurrected’, the band were off and running to another spectacular performance.

Every gig may have the same ingredients, great fans and explosive performance by the band, yet, every concert is different from the other with the different energy in each city that is brought by both band and fans. Vienna is known as the ‘City of Music’, and tonight it is very easy to see why. The Dead Daisies brings another huge performance to a close just like the many musicians over hundreds of years have done in this city, with the curtain coming down and leaving the audience wanting more.
