YEAR IN REVIEW: DRUMS & JOHN LENNON

The Daisies Recap, this time on drums and the legendary John Lennon:  Most of the Drums & percussion on the album were done by Jackie Barnes, son of son of legendary Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes. Ladies & gentlemen – the groove machine on #Revolucion!
Jackie graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music majoring in drum performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. and has played with many stars including Keith Urban, Joe Bonamassa and Glenn Hughes.

Also during the recordings, David found out he owned a guitar signed by none other than John Lennon: „The guitar was bought at a charity auction. It had a broken neck and we had it fixed, but had no idea about the signature it was. Until someone said it was Lennon‘s! Of course we had it checked out and true enough, it was his!“ Imagine that! Can you say ‘signature instrument‘?
