With the concept of the ‘Burn It Down’ cover establishing the eye as the flower, this would be carried on throughout the year in various artwork for promotion, logos and covers. In coming up with the Winterland concept, the team decided to take the current skull to the other extreme and freeze it.
A sheet of ice was created with the skull embedded onto it. Dangerously sharp icicles dripped down from the eyes and teeth, some tipped in dried blood. The bright red flower in the eye along with a Terminator like dot breathed life into the face.
Artwork was made up for signing posters, stickers, passes and new merchandise all reflecting the tour, as well as banners and graphics posted across all of the band’s social media platforms. The signing poster and sticker were quickly snapped up at shows all across the UK and Europe.
