Billed as ‘A Night of Rock’, the final show of this tour at SO36 in Berlin featured a Thin Lizzy tribute, The Treatment and capping off the night and tour, The Dead Daisies.
A packed audience crammed into the venue just in time for headliners The Dead Daisies to light ‘em up one more time on this run of dates.
The band like every night, launched onto the stage in a mass of lights and noise with guitars and bass riffing ‘Long Way to Go’. From top to bottom, this was a set that celebrated everything about The Daisies from start to now including some of the biggest songs that they have written and covered over the last ten years.
Featuring tracks from ‘Revolucion’, through to songs from ‘Make Some Noise’, ‘Burn It Down’, ‘Holy Ground’, ‘Radiance’ and ‘Light ‘Em Up’ as well as a nod to the forthcoming Blues album ‘Looking For Trouble’ mixed in with big cover songs for the band like ‘Helter Skelter’ and ‘Fortunate Son’. It really was a feast of great live music.
When the last chord was struck and the band took their farewell bow, they can look back on a tour that, although short, packed a huge punch with audiences, and they will be back very soon!
