As the band settled into their rhythm of this tour, they arrived in Italy for the first time since 2023. Tonight’s show would be at Phenomenon in Fontaneto D’agogna which lies on the outskirts of Milan.
Phenomenon live club has hosted some of the most important Italian and international artists over twenty years. The unique structure has a retractable roof which allows the venue to change from a closed arena to an open-air amphitheater, but tonight it was strictly under the roof!
John Corabi knows how to take charge of a show and make sure the fans are both involved and enjoying every minute, whether it’s through crowd participation or just making sure they have the broadest smiles across their faces! Tonight was no different as the band, David Lowy and Doug Aldrich on guitars, Michael Devin on bass guitar and Tommy Clufetos launched into an 18 song set.
Kicking off with ‘Long Way to Go’, which is a great way to start the evening both as a song and sentiment, all the way to the finish line with The Beatles classic ‘Helter Skelter’, the spaces in-between are packed with monster songs. ‘I’m Gonna Ride’, ‘Mexico’ and ‘Midnight Moses’ all featured heavily much to the delight of the Italian crowd.
With another show in Italy on Sunday, there will be a lot of talking Italian this weekend!
