The band landed in Wales for the only Welsh show of this tour and caught an unexpected late hot summer day as Autumn is about to show its colours!
The great weather brought out an even bigger turnout including many well travelled fans who wanted to add another Daisies show to their collection!
Like every show on this tour, it did not matter where the band were performing, or the kind of venue they played, big or smaller, old or new, the consistency in their performance has been top notch, leaving fans wanting more at the end of every show.
Swansea was no different. After The Bites and The Treatment had wowed the audience with their own amazing sets, The Dead Daisies took it up to a whole other level, almost Empire State level as John Corabi led the band into another fiery performance flanked by a guitar combo of Doug Aldrich and David Lowy and backed by the big sound of rhythm section Michael Devin and Tommy Clufetos.
It’s hard to pick out a song highlight as they were all highlights. ‘Born to Fly’ and ‘Unspoken’ may not have come from Corabi albums, but he made them his own, and the small list of covers including the blues infused ‘I’m Ready’ were fused into the band’s DNA like they were original Daisies numbers!
Bristol and London are in for a treat as the band get ready to sign off on this latest UK tour!
