STEEL MILL WOLVES

2024.09.14-WOLVERHAMPTON-127

Saturday was a quick bus trip across the English Midlands from Nottingham to Wolverhampton. A city along with Birmingham that was developed on the back of the Industrial Revolution of the early 20th century with steel and coal industries that eventually led to the birth of Heavy Metal with bands like Black Sabbath and members of Led Zeppelin hailing from the area, followed quickly by Judas Priest.

K. K. Downing formerly of the classic Judas Priest line-up is the ambassador of the venue that the band headlines on Saturday night!

With a huge rock crowd hailing from the area, it’s no surprise that the venue is busy tonight. After both opening bands complete their sets, it’s time for The Daisies to hit the stage.

The venue has hosted many Rock acts since 2018 and is a perfect fit for the band. Doug’s guitar solos echo through clearly across the audience while you feel the rumble right through your stomach of the bass and drums of Michael and Tommy.

Songs like ‘I Wanna Be Your Bitch’ and ‘Born to Fly’ sound loud and clear as they are catapulted from the stage. Along with a bunch of equally powerful anthems like ‘Midnight Moses’, The Dead Daisies succeed once more in putting on a ferocious live performance. Next up is Newcastle!
