Tonight’s show saw the band make their first and only stop of the tour in Switzerland. Returning to a venue that has been a favourite place for the band countless times over the last ten years, the Z7 in Pratteln near the Swiss city of Basil.
Temperatures are slowly beginning to drop in parts of Europe as we head towards winter, and it’s a fresh cool temperature today in a country that’s made up of many mountains and the guys could feel it as they stepped off the tour bus.
The temperature rose very quickly when it came to showtime. With hundreds packed into the venue under the hot lights and the electricity coming from the music on-stage, Z7 blew up as the chords for ‘Light ‘Em Up’ exploded from the amps as The Dead Daisies stamped their arrival in Switzerland.
With a set of old and new classics like ‘Lock ’N’ Load’, ‘Make Some Noise’ and ‘Rise Up’, the room temperature soared as the fans cheered and screamed for more. Song after song came at the crowd like fireballs! ‘Mexico’, ‘Midnight Moses’, ‘Long Way to Go’, they were all hitting their target!
Tomorrow night will see a 4th night on the go when the band who are now on a roll hit Paris!
