The tour is over and it passed through the UK like a tornado leaving the opposite to devastation in its path. Many old and new fans left the shows with the biggest grins and the best memories after some memorable nights.

On this tour, all paths lead to and end at one of the UK’s most popular one day, one stage festivals, Stonedead, where The Dead Daisies were playing for the first time and in the special guest slot.

With a set lasting just over an hour, the band hit the stage at 7.40pm to the sell out 5,000 enthusiastic Rockers, some well travelled Daisies faithfuls and some Daisies virgins! A young fan was overheard later talking to his dad saying, ‘I now have a new favourite band!’

‘Long Way to Go’ blasted out the towering speakers to a massive cheer, then the band took the crowd on a journey through some of the song highlights of The Dead Daisies career. ‘Rise Up’, ‘Dead and Gone’, ‘Mexico’ and ‘Midnight Moses’ are just some of the highlights from a fourteen song set that also included a drum solo from Tommy Clufetos.

David, Doug, John, Michael and Tommy enjoyed this one with a passion. You could feel the positive vibe in the air, and just an overall great atmosphere among the crowd. Now it’s time to put the guitars away, head to the airport and make their way home. Thank to everyone who came along to our shows! Until next time.
