The Rock n’ Roll bus has pulled into the Netherlands for the second time on this tour, arriving at the Bibelot Poppodium in Dordrecht, historically known in English as Dordt or Dort, and a city and municipality in the Western Netherlands, and near the city of Rotterdam.
Tonight’s show was packed to capacity, which is a common theme in Dutch shows, because they really love their Daisies.
They may have had a rare evening off between shows yesterday, however, they still came out of the blocks on fire, powering into the title song of the album ‘Light ‘Em Up’ then snaking into ‘Rise Up’ followed by the infectious ‘Dead and Gone’! How could anyone not be hypnotised by such a killer to start a show.
With five shows already played, the band are finding their rhythm, and what a rhythm it is, with Clufetos on drums and Devin on Bass.
As the band took a final bow after ‘Helter Skelter’ and made their way to the tour bus, a few loyal fans looked for the opportunity to catch John and the band before they headed back on the road once more. Back to Germany next!
