PARIS IS ON FIRE

As the penultimate gig arrives, the band play in Vauréal, on the edge of one of the greatest cities on Earth, Paris! Le Forum II is the venue where tonight’s Rock n’ Roll celebrations take place, and it has been sold out for nearly a week!

Situated in the new town of Cergy-Pontoise, Vauréal has been around for centuries, and over time merged with the suburbs of Paris as the great city grew and grew over the ages.

Like five shadowy figures straight out of the French Revolution, the band exploded on a stage full of colour and noise and launched into ‘Long Way To Go’! The big hitters kept firing out into the sold out crowd, including ‘Rise Up’, ‘Dead and Gone’ and ‘Light ‘Em Up’ for a night to be long remembered! The band, the venue, Vauréal and Paris were ablaze as The Dead Daisies scorched the earth with a blistering set of songs!

With the new blues album hitting record stores in May, there was a section of the show dedicated just to that, with blistering renditions of ‘Crossroads’ and ‘Going Down’, which sounded like a young Aerosmith bursting into the world for the first time. Michael Devin demonstrated his mean mouth organ skills while John Corabi deputised on the bass for a brief minute.

One last show to go on this tour, and it’s wrapping up in the German capital, Berlin. It’s sure to be a great party to sign off the first tour of the year, so if you don’t have tickets, get them now!
