Hi All… I’m back with another instalment of my Hi All… I’m back with another instalment of my walk down memory lane with @thedeaddaisies .

November 2015 saw the Daisies in Sydney playing a private gig to around 400 people at the local Harley Davidson dealership.

Richard Fortus had ironically been injured in a motorcycle accident a week or two before the Australian tour, and so Dave Leslie from the iconic Aussie rock band @babyanimalsmusic stepped in to take over lead guitar duty.

I can recall walking into the dealership, via the cafe… with Dizzy Reed casually sitting at a table… just doing whatever Dizzy does.

The gig was epic, a killer setlist, and I couldn’t have gotten any closer to Crabby if I’d tried…. Centimetres separating him, the microphone and myself.

What a privilege to experience this and share with my best mate Shannon Cooper (the one pictured without hair 😆). Have you met any of your favourite musicians?
Hey everyone, and G’Day from Sydney, Australia. Hey everyone, and G’Day from Sydney, Australia. I’m Ross, and I’m taking over @thedeaddaisies account from my good friend Mel this week.

I’ll be sharing some of my favourite memories of my time with the guys, mostly behind the scenes footage.

This first set is from the Japan 2016 tour, specifically the Loud Park music festival. This was my first time back stage and with an “Access all areas” pass.

Such incredible memories, and I was made to feel very much like a part of the family.

What’s your fav Dead Daisies encounter?

They never skip Switzerland and I love them for that — amazing vibes every single time, and yes… my mom was there once 😄

Over the years I’ve met amazing people, made real friendships and lived unforgettable moments thanks to these shows. This band doesn’t just make great music — they bring real joy.🎶

@thedeaddaisies , thank you for always making me feel welcome. Your kindness means more than you know. I’m beyond grateful. ♥️ /mel
Today I’m taking you through my Europe & UK memo Today I’m taking you through my Europe & UK memories 🇪🇺🇬🇧

I’ve been incredibly lucky to see The Dead Daisies play in many different countries — from small venues to festivals, even a stadium in Portugal and of course their acoustic pre-shows, Daisyland.

I’ve been to a lot of concerts, but they’re the only band I’ve ever seen doing this: a small intimate acoustic show during the day, then the big main show at night. That says everything about how much they care about their fans.

See you tomorrow for my final post 🙃 /mel
I’m convinced concerts change personality depend I’m convinced concerts change personality depending on where you are in the world…
These pics have been taken from USA 🇺🇸 tours between 2016–2018 and the atmosphere over there is something else — not better, not worse, just different magic. I’ve had the time of my life on both sides of the ocean 🌎
Both made me fall in love with live music all over again.

Bonus: a clip of Something I Said from the very first time I ever saw them at the Whisky 🖤🎸 /mel
Brighton 2024 🇬🇧 It all started in Nashville Brighton 2024 🇬🇧
It all started in Nashville while I was waiting for my flight. Calm and responsible… until boredom hit. And when I’m bored, I book flights 😅 So instead of going home, I decided I had to be in Brighton the next day to see the Daisies.

So here we go:
Nashville → Geneva → 2-hour train home → unpack → laundry → repack → back to Geneva → London → Brighton.

I arrived half-alive, running on caffeine only but Ella was waiting for me😊 We walked around, enjoyed the rain, then straight to the show. A beautiful venue right by the sea.

And… as always, the band absolutely killed it 🔥! The place was packed again, the energy was insane, every song hit. To be honest, all their shows are great and they just keep getting better. If you haven’t seen them live yet, don’t miss your chance next time they play near you! Their energy is contagious and they leave everyone happier than when they arrived ♥️

After a night that flew by, I headed back to London to get some rest… only to discover I’d booked my hotel at the wrong airport. Naturally 🤣 /mel
Throwback to The Dead Daisies show in Pratteln 202 Throwback to The Dead Daisies show in Pratteln 2024 — Reb Beach did a great job filling in for Doug!

The day started perfectly with a reunion with Ella & Pam and some sightseeing around Basel. Ella and I somehow thought jumping on a crazy Spider-Man themed fairground ride was a great idea… and it was so much fun. 10/10 would scream again 😂

After a little hotel apéro, we headed to Z7 just in time to catch Mike Tramp and Beasto Blanco opening for the Dead Daisies. Two bands I love, so I was already in the best mood before the main act even started.

And then… the Dead Daisies hit the stage. Packed venue, insane energy, everyone smiling and singing along. Loud, sweaty, happy — and 100% worth it. Already counting down to the next concert with the girls, because we clearly laughed way too much to stop here. 🎶💃 /mel
My second concert of 2025 took me to Essen, where My second concert of 2025 took me to Essen, where The Dead Daisies kicked off my 4-day concert marathon in the best possible way.

And because it wouldn’t be a real trip without it, Swiss and Deutsche Bahn, true to tradition, tried to spice things up… , but I outsmarted them by showing up early. Experience level: expert 😎 No chance I would’ve missed this show! Travel drama seems to follow me, but every concert proves it’s worth the struggle 🙃

I had such a great time — what a show! The band was incredible, full of energy and they absolutely kicked ass 🤘🏻!! The crowd was on fire and familiar faces everywhere made it even better !

And yes… in today’s post I’m reloading the Lausanne video again. This time it comes with audio, so you’re welcome! 🤣🎸 /mel
Hi everyone! I’m Mel and I’ll be taking over t Hi everyone!
I’m Mel and I’ll be taking over the @thedeaddaisies account this week 🤘

It all started for me in September 2016 at the Whisky a Go Go in L.A., where I got to celebrate my birthday with my friends Sara and Simon at my very first TDD show.
One show was all it took… I’ve been addicted ever since ♥️

In 2025 I only managed to catch two gigs, but when the band played so close to home in Lausanne, I knew I had to take Sara with me again. First time ever seeing them on my side of Switzerland and it felt pretty surreal.
The show itself was incredible, but hearing “Love That’ll Never Be” live completely made my night.

Coming up: a look back at the Essen show, then some of my favorite memories from the past ten years 🤗🌼 /mel
