HITTING THE TARGET AT REVOLVER IN VENICE

The Revolver Club is a few kilometres outside the centre of Venice in a more rural setting. Once again, this was another part of the world that was a first for us to play.

After a day off on Sunday and spending time in Milan, we boarded the tour bus and headed for Venice. After nearly five hours on the road we arrived at the venue. At 6.30pm, we took to the stage to do our regular DaisyLand slot where Deen’s rendition of Rod Stewart’s ‘Maggie May’ went down amazingly with the Italian crowd.

After completing some press and radio interviews at the venue, it was time to hit the stage. It is always a great feeling to look out and see every space in the venue packed with people and tonight was no exception. We fired it up with ‘Midnight Moses’ and continued to hit the crowd with riff after riff and gave them plenty of hooks between ‘Song and a Prayer’, ‘Mexico’ and ‘Dead and Gone’ as well as crowd favourite covers ‘Join Together’ and ‘Highway Star’.

Once the show was over we headed back to the bus and started the long drive heading for Croatia. Zagreb is up next.
