HITTING THE HIGH NOTES AT THE BLUE NOTE

2024.07.15 HARRISON_DAY_15-55

With the tour well under way, the band are firing on all cylinders and after a couple of days off are raring to hit the stage once more! Tonight’s show is at the Blue Note in Harrison, Ohio. Harrison sits right on the Ohio and Indiana border line which cuts through the town and is on the outskirts of the city of Cincinnati.

The Dead Daisies have recharged and relaxed these last two days so when they hit the stage it’s like a bolt of lightning!

No thunder clouds here except for the hum, crunch and thunderous noise that comes from Michael Deven’s bass rig as it locks in with crack off of Tommy Clufetos’s drums. The sound that comes off the stage is so big, you can feel it in your chest with each kick drum that feels like an extra heartbeat.

With songs like ‘Make Some Noise’, ‘Lock N’ Load’ and ‘Born To Fly’ stretching over the band’s history and making a mark tonight with the crowd, it was time to introduce a new song into the mix. ‘I’m Gonna Ride’ is an instant hit with the crowd, and the Blue Note is the first venue in the world to hear it live!

Every crowd on this tour has been loud and enthusiastic, and Harrison is no different. Corabi commented that these guys sang every word loud as hell along with the band which as a songwriter is a great feeling when you hear back your words at a show.

As the tour reaches its final few shows, Nashville is up next, and you can be sure that everyone is going to have a blast!
