It’s been a year since The Dead Daisies last toured Europe, returning with John Corabi leading some of the biggest choruses in Rock, and tonight on November 1st, they are back and kicking off big time in the Dutch city of Enschede! With the introduction of a new member, albeit temporary, Reb Beach of Winger and Whitesnake has stepped in to cover for his friend Doug, currently recovering from a recent medical procedure.
Tonight’s venue the Metropool is a beacon for music in this part of the Netherlands, featuring everything from Classical to metal to hip-hop/RNB, from pop to blues to dance and everything in between. The Daisies didn’t waste any time in getting the show on the road.
As soon as the lights go down and the intro music finishes, the band explode onto the stage with a blistering noise of guitars and drums and then immediately kick into a set full of Rock Classics like ‘Rise Up’, ‘Mexico’ and ‘Long Way to Go’. Reb Beach wasted no time in getting himself familiar with the Daisies fans as he ripped into the guitar solos front and centre of the stage along with Corabi.
After arriving in Europe on Wednesday followed by a warm up rehearsal, the band continues to burn through its music like a tightly tuned musical instrument even with another guitarist this time around. As the dates come thick and fast, the band will only get tighter with every show. Next up, the band travels to Belgium.
