Every show on this tour has seen packed out venues, however, Lyon was the first to cross the line a few days before the band arrived. After a day of travel and rest, the band arrived at the La Rayonne venue ready to Rock!
Lyon, the second largest city in France, sits not far from the Swiss border and is known as the Capital of Lights because of its lights festival. Tonight The Dead Daisies lit up the venue with an explosive and colourful spectacle of sound and vision!
John Corabi took hold of the show from the opening number ‘Long Way To Go’ and made sure he guided it all the way bringing along a sold out crowd for the ride.
Michael Devin and Tommy Clufetos were tightly wound together creating a great rhythm partnership as Doug Aldrich and David Lowy threw down their guitar riffs which sounded loud as hell and ten feet tall through the Blackstar amps!
After closing out with ‘Mexico’, ‘Midnight Moses’, ‘Resurrected’ and ‘Helter Skelter’ the lights finally faded into the distance and the performance was over. Lyon and France were amazing tonight, and next up, it’s more of the same in Paris!
