Last night was the Birmingham show! It is amazing how many huge Rock and Metal bands that we all love, come from this part of the world. They say Heavy Metal was started in Birmingham and the Black Country (name of the area), and we can see why. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Glenn Hughes, Robert Plant and John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, Diamond Head (who played with us last night) all come from this part of the world.

We had a great rock crowd packed in to see us and with local legends Diamond Head opening the show, everyone from the audience to the members of the band were ready to make it an unforgettable night.

Doug was firing on all cylinders as he blasted out the riffs for ‘Make Some Noise’, ‘Last Time I Saw the Sun’ and ‘Song and a Prayer’. It really was an electric atmosphere, and when we finished with ‘Mexico’ and Deep Purple’s ‘Highway Star’ the crowd just went crazy! It really was a great night to finish out last gig in England for this tour.
