With three shows left including tonight’s performance at Barba Negra in Budapest, the band are killing it every night with a stellar performance.
Tonight, the best of the Budapest rock community have turned up in force to support their favourite band, The Dead Daisies. John, David, Michael, Tommy and Reb have all brought their ‘A’ game and as soon as they hit the stage, the Hungarian crowd go wild.
With the buzz of the amps, the crunching guitar riffs and thunderous drums, the band kicked off the evening with the title track off the latest album ‘Light ‘Em Up’! Like a greatest hits selection of Daisies music, and like a live jukebox, the songs come alive!
A mixture of material from all the albums makes an appearance, even a small number of Glenn Hughes Daisies era tracks which John has stamped his own mark on very firmly. ‘Born to Fly’ is a particular highlight as is ‘Unspoken’. With ‘Midnight Moses’ and ‘Mexico’ from ‘Revolucion’ and ‘Lock N’ Load’ from the first album, it’s safe to say that every different singer’s material was covered here.
Next stop is the European capital of music, Vienna.
