All good things come to an end. After a whirlwind tour across Europe, The Dead Daisies would finish this run of shows in the Czech Republic with an appearance at Basinfirefest in Spalene Porici.

Basinfirefest has a wealth of mainly European heavy acts with Doro being the one globally known headliner. The festival started in 2003 and has a capacity of over 25,000 people.

A shorter festival set would be cranked up and fired out as the band played in the open air during the daylight. What better way to kick it off than the main song from the last album, ‘Light ‘Em Up’!

With numbers like ‘Dead and Gone’, ‘I’m Gonna Ride’ and ‘Mexico’ wowing the capacity crowd, the band were showing no signs of fatigue from the tour. Fresh as Daisies and ripping it up, they put on their usual 5 star performance as Doug and David swapped guitar licks across the stage finally finishing with the Beatles classic ‘Helter Skelter’.

Now it’s time to pack up and head for home before a return to the UK in August!
