Situated by the River Avon, Bristol is a sleepy and quiet city situated in the West of England. But tonight, it was anything but sleepy and quiet as The Dead Daisies rolled into town for their penultimate gig of the UK tour. Amps turned up to eleven, drums about to be hit like they were creating thunder and a frontman that knows how to scream.
After leaving Cardiff the tour bus rolled into the O2 Academy in Bristol where the band rested up and chilled out until the show later in the evening.
As with most shows on this tour, the crowd swelled as doors were open with a near capacity packing into the room.
As the lights went down and the intro music kicked in you could feel the excitement in the air as Doug cranked up the guitar riff for ‘Light ‘Em Up’ and the band were off on a two hour journey of the best Classic Rock to be heard in Bristol in a long time!
All the favourites including ‘Mexico’, ‘Midnight Moses’ and ‘Long Way to Go’ had the fans singing their hearts out, and once the final chord was struck for the night, the crowd didn’t want the band to leave.
The final night in London is now upon us, then the guys head home for a well deserved rest!
