YEAR IN REVIEW: LAST DAY IN CUBA!

The Daisies Recap for today. On Feb 28th, the band played the bigger of their two shows in the country. The Cuba Rock for Peace festival turned out to be quite an enjoyable night, with local musicians on stage contributing some cool percussion & groove. There surely was a lot of love for Rock’n’Roll in the air. Music is truly the international language, isn’t it? As usual, The Daisies pulled out some old favorites during their set, for example the Free classic „All Right Now“. You can see the lyric sheet on the picture. Also on the setlist next to the Daisies own material like „It’s Gonna Take Time“ and „Lock’n’Load“ was a smoking rendition of „Hush“ by Joe South. During their stay in Cuba, The Dead Daisies met a lot of cool people, made some new friends and for sure a truckload of great new experiences, even for a group world-travelled musician like these. The show marked an amazing end to an amazing week!
