…and this is it: The Daisies in Hollywood, at the famous Whisky-A-Go-Go, with a full headline set! And it’s the last date on the US tour as well, minus one stint next Sunday at the Arizona Cardinals game, so it’s ON!

The day is action-packed from the beginning: It starts with a big photoshoot for an international Rock magazine, then it’s off to the legendary Rock’n’Roll dive on Sunset. After the soundcheck Doug tells the story of how he met the immortal Randy Rhoads right in this place way back in the day. Cool. This being Los Angeles, the guys of course meet a lot of friends, colleagues and partners, among them Derek Sherinian and Derek St. Holmes. They take pics with the charming host of 95.5 KLOS, the station presenting the show, go over the setlist one more time, get the voices warmed up, have a beer – and off they go!!!

The club is packed, the vibe best summarized with „absolutely kick ass“. After two months on the road, the Daisies are on fire and having a ball. Just check out Marco grinning like a four-stringed madman! Rock’n’Roll at it’s best, if we dare say so!

Of course, this calls for celebration: There’s an amazing aftershow party happening at Sunset Tower Hotel with plenty of drinks, Zeppelin blasting, a huuuge pic of John along the side of building, and, yes, two mermaids in the pool. Wow. Thanks go out to Peter Lowy for setting up this extraordinaire event. Needless to say, band and crew along with a lot of friends and family have a good time until the morning…
