“When David and I got together with a view to writing songs … we both wrote down our 10 favourite bands, and we pretty much had eight exactly the same,’’ Jon says.

The result is new material with a classic rock sound: “I just wanted to make some music that was raw and rocking with big choruses, big riffs and big melodies.’’

They also pay tribute to one of their favourite bands, The Beatles, with a cover of Helter Skelter on the new four-track EP called Face I Love. – Adelaide Now
